Arrival Recordings, managed by Hungarian artist Aeron Aether, is the newest addition to the Silk Music Publishing family. It will be showcasing great tracks from upcoming talents, as well as new tunes from some of Silk's core artists. AF is up first with "Any Other Name," which develops into a deep and groovy masterpiece. Noah Deep's contribution, "Once Over Tokyo," includes mesmerizing synths and textures that give that special 'floating' feeling. "Celestia," from El Hom, begins with big, sweeping pads, and is soon accompanied by a bent guitar lead that features prominently in the track. The fourth track on this sampler is "Progressive" from Lagaz, and it actually includes a wealth of progressive elements, such as the many layered saw melodies. Tomohiko Togashi's "Bizarro" is a heavily layered track with strong theme synths, and the overall sound is enhanced by energetic stabs and tweaked percussion elements. The penultimate track is "Tropical Beach" by Roald Velden pres. Mono Suono; beautiful piano melodies are supported brilliantly by soothing, sweeping pad layers and sounds of waves crushing onto the beach & creating the ultimate beach feeling. Rounding off Arrival's debut release is Thya with "Windy City". It's a quite "trance-y" sounding track with great energy, strong synth elements, and an assortment of uplifting melodies.
