Silk Textures is overjoyed to present a new EP by Manchester-based sensation Universal Solution. An artist who has explored the outer reaches of electronica in his celebrated career, including timeless contributions to the mighty Anjunadeep imprint, Universal Solution (a.k.a. Gavin Holland) treats us to two atmospheric, deep, and soulful house cuts.

The release kicks off with "Sunburst," which was recently featured on Shingo Nakamura's "Only Silk 03" mix. The song centers on an exceedingly chilled, escapist soundscape, dominated by light, yet lush pads. Meanwhile, a gentle groove allows the listener to effortlessly "drift," as the atmospheric touches continue to crescendo throughout the tune.

On the B-side, "Bamboo Alley" is a gentle, breezy, and melodic affair from the very beginning. A hypnotic, swirling pad effect is a defining motif, as well as a high-octave vocal stab that punctuates the track at regular intervals. Meanwhile, a side-chained pad and a variety of other thematic flourishes paint a vivid, summery canvas of sound.
